AuraCacia is a cooperative company that allows their community to have input into their decisions and actions, and they put their consumers at the forefront of their company. All of their oils are free from additives and fillers, and they offer a range of organic oils. Each bottle of oil is stored in amber glass to protect it from oxidizing when exposed to UV light to maintain the integrity of the oils. Aura Cacia is committed to conducting all of our business in an ethical, socially responsible way and selling only pure, sustainably sourced essential oils of the highest quality.

We require the following commitments from our suppliers:  worker safety and fair treatment, sustainable growing practices, environmental stewardship, community involvement, and essential oil purity and quality.

OUR PURITY TESTING PROCESS

Every shipment of our oils is tested in our labs when it arrives at our Iowa headquarters. Our oils go through a rigorous testing process. In fact, we were one of the first to pioneer a test that is now considered the standard to prove essential oil quality. It’s called gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC/MS) testing, and it’s the primary way to ensure an essential oil is an unadulterated, true botanical.

Every batch of Aura Cacia essential oils are GC tested. This testing is one of the most sophisticated evaluations available to verify that oils are unadulterated and properly identified.  The combination of GC testing and our close relationships with our growers guarantees the delivery of 100% pure essential oils that are the best for true aromatherapy benefits.

GETTING THE TRUE BENEFITS

Getting the true benefits from essential oils doesn’t require ingesting them or paying hundreds of dollars for a bottle. All it really takes is a little bit of understanding how to use them and most importantly, understanding where they come from.
